Sisi's Preschool Party

Yesterday we were so happy to be able to attend Sisi's (my niece) end of the year preschool party:) We had so much fun watching her and seeing what she's learned!

Yes We're Still Alive****

So I haven't been very good at facebooking or blogging lately. It's soooo hard to find the motivation after a long day with the girls! Because it's been so long since my last post I'm going to make a list of some of the things going on in our lives~

1. Dave is at lineman school in CA and is doing great! He's won several awards and seems to be his teachers favorite. Of course I can see why:) He has a little over a month left! Time has really gone by fast and we're grateful for that.
2. The girls and I have pretty much stayed in WA for the past 2 1/2 months.....with a one week trip to CA to see Daddy. We've had a fantastic time visiting lots of family and friends!
3. Addelyn is 3 1/2 years old and Alivia is 10 months. I can't believe we'll be celebrating Alivia's first b-day in two months~
4. We still don't know where we will end up living after Dave gets out of school but we know that the Lord has a plan for us so we're not worried about it:)
5. Last weekend Dave was able to come and visit**** We spend some time in Okanogan with his family then spend the rest of the time by ourselves and got some good time in together:) We were able to go to Ohme Gardens and see all the beautiful water, trees, and flowers. Addelyn loved being our tour guide......She kept saying.....Come on kids follow me......then it turned into the follow the prophet song:) She's so funny and doesn't fail to make me laugh everyday!

Moving is for the birds~

We are soooo trying to make the best out of this move! It's been so hard with good-byes and not knowing the next time we're going to see some of our friends and family. BUT~ We know this is exactly what our family is suppose to be doing and we're ready for the challenges that lie ahead for the next four months. Anyway, here are some pictures the girls and I took while we've been packing. We were being silly and just needed a laugh:)

Matchy`Matching Skirts~

Last night the girls went to bed early so a had a couple of hours to make these skirts. Adde was so happy when she woke up this morning and tried it on~ I will post more pictures of the girls wearing the skirts this Sunday!!!!!

The two loves I'm talking about are my love for skirts and my even bigger love SHOES!!!! Anyone who knows me knows my love for shoes and the ridiculous amount of them I own:) So when I'm not getting a pair for myself....I'm making some for my girls~ Here are the shoes I just made Alivia! They are pretty plain right now and I'll probably add to them later but I thought they turned out soooo cute and they're so soft:) I can tell you right now that I'll be making these in every color for her!!!

Here is the skirt I made yesterday. I was in the mood to wear something different for church so I decided to whip up this!!! It was fun to make and I felt like a new woman:)

~Remember last year when I made a v-day dress for Adde....well here it is and now she can wear it as a shirt. She looked so cute for her V-day party~

EXCITING STUFF:)

About a week ago was Addelyn's first trip to the Dentist and as a her mother and a dental assistant myself you can imagine how excited and proud of her I was:) She did soooo good and actually ask to go back there a couple of days ago. This office was by far the best looking dental office I had ever seen. It's was decked out with tons of toys, video games, t.v.'s, etc.....really almost anything and everything you can thing of was there. I'm so glad Adde did so good and happy that her first experience at the dentist was a good one!

Recently I had the chance to be a pattern tester for one of my favorite shops on Esty.....Love,September. Anyway, here are the results of the one I made Alivia....I'm making a matching skirt for Addelyn as well. I think it turned out really cute!
